"I have been with State Farm since I was 16 years old so about 40 years now. But, I feel like I was mislead by one of his staff members about converting some of my term life into whole life. I was misquoted quite a bit saying my premium would drop for my term life by $55 a month if I convert some of my term to whole life. Well, when I got my bill for my term life and it only dropped $12. So $43 a month off and what surprised me is she said that’s not that much. I get a few dollars as no one is perfect. But, It may not be to her but these days that’s a lot of money. We all have budgets in our household. So I called the staff member and said I wanted to drop the coverage and she turned basically into a car dealership salesman asking me drop some of my term life which I have been paying on for a long time to get to where I can afford it. I told her no I wasn’t going to take away from my family that much in case something happen to me. But thankfully Richard took care of it and the whole life was canceled. Maybe a some more training on calculation might help."
